"IRL Activations"

The Ask: Create social worlds for on the ground events.
My Role: As the Creative Lead for @NikeSportswear Social, I lead teams that spanned multiple Nike and Athlete social channels to create fluid, on the ground capture plans for various live events. At every touchpoint I was the go-to person for communication and decision making. I lead what creative partners we worked with, edits to AVs and Stills, facilitated communications with the teams on the ground and leadership located in Portland, OR, and worked with Sports Marketing/Legal/Business Affairs for Athlete approvals. This was the hardest and best part of my job on the social team. Most events we would capture and go live within 24 hours or less.
What I Learned: With these events being so fast, I learned to trust my instincts deeply. And while I am a writer by nature, these events forced me to hone in on my art direction skills. Each event became a crash course in how to be a Creative Director that could speak to a variety of skill sets.
The Teams: While I lead the team these bodies of work couldn’t be possible without countless teammates, it truly took a village. Without them none of this could be possible.
